This
fully integrated module enables asset managers to carry out low cost physical
audits on bar-coded assets and inventory items using the latest in data
capture technology. A hand-held unit uses an interactive display to guide
the user through the audit process.
Data
from the audit is then read by this module and used to report on changes
(moved, missing or new items) and to update the appropriate register.

leading portable laser scanners guide users through the audit process,
continually updating the status of audited and unaudited items on-screen.

As
many data fields as required can be uploaded from the Asset4000 module
to the hand-held unit. Specified fields can be edited during the audit.

Information
on items, such as make, model or serial number, is displayed in a
scrollable format on the hand-held unit.

Assets
and inventory items can be flagged as transferred, disposed of or
missing.

An
advanced search facility allows 'rogue' items to be quickly identified
by any criteria, such as serial number.

Audited
data is downloaded into Real's asset register from which reports can
be produced for both assets and inventory items. Actions arising can
then be verified and checked prior to updating the register.

As
part of the asset register update process, transaction records for
verified transfers and disposals will be created automatically. All
updates and transactions are recorded in a log for reporting purposes.
