Commitment Integrating with the Exchequer General Ledger and Sales & Purchase Order Processing, the Commitment Accounting Module manages budgetary commitments simply and securely. The module accumulates the values of outstanding sales and purchase orders at any given point in time. These values are posted to a "Commitment Ledger" within the General Ledger, wher their effect can be seen against the General Ledger actual values. The module retains strict control of pre-selected expenditure right through to data entry level. Users can be advised about, warned or even prevented from raising purchase orders that are allocated to any particular budget. Budget balances can be reviewed as actuals, actuals plus committed, or purely just committed balances. Full reporting facilities are available. |
