Exchequer ODBC & Ole Save

This module is primarily used by Iris Exchequer to link Microsoft Excel dynamically to the rich financial management data held within Iris Exchequer. By utilising this technology, vital decision support data, such as general ledger actuals and budgets, stock sales and margins, customer buying trends and much more can be instantly retrieved onto any Excel spreadsheet. There is no need to to go through transaction files to accumulate data; live values from Iris Exchequer are linked dynamically. Over 250 Add-in functions are supplied with Iris Exchequer's financial modules.

In addition to this, an optional OLE SavePack is available, which provides a further 200 functions for updating specific data within Iris Exchequer from an Excel spreadsheet. This may be used for budgets,inter-company postings, cost allocations or depreciation journals. Time sheets can also be entered via Excel into the Iris Exchequer job costing module and most data fields within the stock, customer and supplier databases can be updated from Excel spreadsheets.
