Works Order

Whether you are involved in simply configuring products to order or you need to manage the assembly of complex products over long periods of time, Exchequer's works order processing (WOP) provides you with the control and traceability needed to help you manage the supply of your products on time and within budget.

WOP is fully integrated with the Exchequer stock control, bill of materials and financial modules. It also integrates with the sales and purchase order processing modules if installed, to provide many more useful features, such as as being able to create a works order directly from a sales order.

Should a bill of material contain several other assemblies, the works order wizard gives you the option of automatically generating a chain of works orders for any sub-assemblies that may be required.

Issuing parts to a works order is simple and issue notes can also be printed to go with the goods.

Component parts can easily be swapped with alternatives and unders/overs are easily managed.

Bar charts at the bottom of each works order show the percentage issued and built.
